RIDERLESS HORSE.

Clearing a six-foot brush fence a riderless horse, Polygonum, landed in the Leger reserve at Moonee Valley races, and crashed into the onlookers. One man was injured. The (jockey was thrown the first time round In the hurdle race, and bad a narrow escape from injury. Coming down the centre of the course the horse continued to race, and when passing the judge’s box swerved off the course and jumped the fence.
