A LAW-ABIDING SOCIETY.
SOUND STIPULATIONS. MUST BE SOBER AND SANE. Now’ that the Hamilton Beautifying Society has decided to become incorporated, rules for the proper management of the society are necessary, and a copy of these submitted at the society’s* meeting last evening are a sound indication that the officers of the society are to he sound, sober, lawabiding citizens. Among the reasons given by which officers can he expelled from the society are: —“Upon proof, to the satisfaction of the executive, that any officer has become of unsound mind”;
and “Upon the conviction of any officer who is sentenced to a term of imprisonment for more than three months.”
