FARM HAND SHOT.
WHILE OUT RABBITING. SHOCKING INJURIES. (Bv Telegraph.—Press Association.) MARTON, Monday. A fatal shooting accident occurred near Huntervllle on Saturday afternoon. , , • John Robb, aged 23, a single farmhand, was out shooting rabbits with a pearifle. When he was climbing a fence the rifle went off, Robb being shockingly wounded in the abdomen. Despite this he crawled back to the whare, which he shared with Mr Smith, the schoolmaster at Rataiti, but Mr Smith was absent in Ilunlerville. The latter returned some hours later and found Robb, who was hurried to the hispital, but died on Sunday morning.
