SHOOTING.
MINIATURE RIFLE CLUB. MEETING ON DRILL HALL RANGE. After an interval of one week, owing to new surfacing being laid on the range, the Hamilton Miniature Rifle Club resumed its evening meetings on the Drill Hall range on Saturday night. There was a good attendance of enthusiasts, and the competitions attracted full entries. Following were the results of the matches (the possible score is 70) : First match.—C. Mathieson (3), G 7; I. Pags, (scr.), 67; C. Seddon, (scr.), 7. In the shoot-off I. Page was successful with the score of G 9. Second Match. —C. Mathieson, (3), 70; Cook, (10), 70. The prize money was divided.
Third Match. —C. Mathieson, (scr,), 67; I. Page, (scr.), G 7; C. Seddon, (scr.), 65. In the shoot-off for second place C. Seddon defeated I. Page with the score of 67. A further handicap shoot will be held on the same range next Saturday. Handicaps may be seen at Tisdall’s.
