At Ilinemoa Park on Saturday two local League teams met and a fairly exciting game was witnessed. r l’he class of football was not over-brilliant but some bright patches of play were witnessed. Petone 2 beat Thistle 0. Diamond 3 beat Waterside 2. Marists 8 beat Institute 2. CHRISTCHURCH. Addington 17 beat Waimairi 11. Hornby 12 beat Sydenham 8. Marists beat Woolston by default.
