MORRINSVILLE STOCK SALE. The Farmers’ Co-operalivve Auctioneering Company, Ltd., report that at their Morrinsville sale a small yarding of beef and store cattle came forward, and prices were very firm. There was an average yarding of fat pigs and a- heavy yarding of store pigs. Competition was keen for wellgrown store and weaner pigs, which sold readily at increased rates, ijuotations: —Fat wethers to 37s 9d; fat hoggets, £1 4s to £1 ss; fat bullocks, £l6 10s; fat cows and heifers, heavy, £lO 2s to £11; medium, £7 17s Gd to £8 12s Gd; light, £G 5s to £7 10s; forward conditioned cows, £5 to £G; fresh store cows, £4 to £5 ss; two-year empty heifers, £5 5s to £5 15s; heifer calves, £4 5s to £4 14s: heifer calves, small, £2 17s to £2 19s. Pigs: Heavy porkers and light baconers, £2 lGs to £3 2s; medium and light, £2 4s to £2 12s; good stores, 34s to £2; slips, 27s to 30s; weaners, 15s to 255. Dairys: Best dairy cows, Jersey and Jersey cross, £ll to £l3; backward sorts, £9 10s to £lO 10s; others, £7 10s to £8 10s; best Jersey heifers, £l3 10s to £ls 10s; backward sorts, £9 10s to £lO 10s; others, £6 5s to £7 10s; cows, in milk, £8 5s to £9 15s.
