SURPRISE PARTY.
AT GLEN MASSEY. A surprise party was taken to Mr and Mrs A. Brockett’s residence at Te Akatea as a welcome to Mr and Mrs Bell, who were spending a short holiday at Te Akatea as the guests of Mrs Brockett. A very jolly evening was spent in games, competitions and dancing. Among those present were: —Mesdames Brunskill, G. Duck, G. Bull, J. Bowen, E. Rutter, Rutter, Bell; Misses E. Fowler, R. Bowen, M. Rutter, M. Brockett; Messrs Bull, Bowen, E. Rutter, H. Rutter, G. Duck, Bell, G. Fowler, Brunskill.
