The body of Mrs Maud Carr, aged 35, was found with the throat cut in a house at the suburb of Birkenhead. The police have arrested a labourer on Ucharge of murder, THROWN OUT OF GIG. MAORI DEES IN HOSPITAL (By Telcprapn—press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Monday. Ilape Te Pakake, aged 32, single, a labourer of Tuahuiri pah, died in the hospital as the result of being thrown out of a gig on the Kaiapoi Bridge when his horse swerved.
