HOUSE-WARMING.
JOLLY SURPRISE PARTY. On Thursday evening an enthusiastic “ welcome home ” was tendered to Mr. and .Mrs. Les Cameron, who were recently married. Despite the wet night some 40 tin-canners visited them, and a lengthy opening selection was given before Mr. and Mrs. Cameron opened the doors. Games and competitions were enjoyed by all, also dancing to the bagpipes, and a very dainty supper was provided by the ladies. A very jolly evening was spent and ‘‘Auld Lang Syne” concluded several happy hours.
Among those present -were Mesdames T. MacDonald, J. Blackhall, H. S. Cameron, Richardson, L. Cameron, S. Rogerson, J. Paget; Misses N. Stuart, M. Cameron, 'A. Muir, V. Paget, F. Elliott, J. Calderon, E. Elliott.
