Miss Beatrice Day, formerly a very popular actress, has just returned to Sydney after a lengthy stay with her son and small grandchild on their orchard in the far West. • ■ * • In “ Much Ado About Nothing,” to be staged at Hamilton on Saturday by the Allan Wilkie Shakespearean Company, Miss Frediswyde Hunter-Watts makes a charming Beatrice,, appearing first in a floral frock with tight-fitting sleeves with long ends falling away from the elbows. Another beautiful frock worn by Miss Hunter Watts is a rose taffeta worn over a floral taffetas petticoat. The frocks worn by the players swept the floor ip regal style. Miss Mildred Howard, as Hero, wears an attractive empire frock of silver tissue with' tight-fitting sleeves slashed with blue. Later she wears a demure gown of fawn cloth with deep white girdle and deep white cuffs. The wedding gown is a handsome one of silver lace, Miss Hilda Scurr and Miss Marjorie Carr, as the gentlewomen attending on her, are attired in pink and grey respectively.
