RAILWAY EMPLOYEE FINED. (By Telegraph—Press \ssnclatlnn.) WELLINGTON, Friday. A railway employee at Thorndon, when throwing stones at a points lever, took up a challenge that he could not knock out a broken pane in a hut window.
Damage resulted which cost him a fine of £2 to-day, and he was ordered to pay damage to the amount of £1 Is. Defendant was William James Evans.
