BOOKMAKER’S AGENT
ADMITS AN OFFENCE. FINE OF £2O IMPOSED. (By Telegraph--Press Association.) PALMERSTON N„ Friday. Pleading guilty to a charge of frequenting a street at Shannon for the purpose of betting, William Edward do Bidder was fined £2O at the Magistrate’s Court. It was stated that defendant, who made a number of small bets with people, was acting as a bookmaker’s agent.
