GOLF,
KIRK-WINDEYER CUP. The Hutt Golf Club has invited the members of the Kirk-Windeyer Cup team to compete on the opening day of its tournament on July 18. The invitation has been accepted and a special scratch medal event is to be played in conjunction with the two qualifying rounds for the Hutt Winter Cup, at present held by Rana Wagg, Hutt. The event should be an interesting one and the entries so far include the Kirk-Windeyer Cup team, namely, Sloan Morpeth (Titlrangi), J. L. Black (Hamilton), T. II- Horton (Masterlon), and Dr. K. Ross (Balmacewan); also D. C. Collins (Wairarapa), J. Drake (Miramar), W. C. Bid well (Wairarapa), H. A. Black (Miramar), and Rana Wagg (Hutt). It is almost certain other prominent golfers will compete, as tin entries do not close until July 15.
