At the meeting of the Waikato Rugby Union last nigtit it was left in the hands of the chairman, secretary, and treasurer to effect tiie insurance of players on tour, if favourable terms could be arranged. Mr B. Chapman (Putaruru) remarked that such an insurance was of considerable importance, and failure to insure players on one occasion in the past had cost the union £4O, when a Waikato’ representative had been injured.
