TAXATION ASSESSMENTS.
BAWRA APPEAL. UPHELD BY THE COURT. (Vtistrallan pies.s Association.) (Received June 29, 11.0 a.m.) MELBOURNE, June 29. His Honour Mr. Justice McArthur has found in favour of the British and Australian WOol Realisation Association (Bawra) on an appeal by the association against the taxation assessments for the years 1922-23 to 19271928 Inclusive. The sum Involved Is approximately £165,860. Mr Justice McArthur also found in favour of Sir John Higgins, who, as trustee, appealed against his assessment In respect to three years’ claims.
