CLOSER SETTLEMENT.
IN TE AROHA DISTRICT. ACQUISITION OF ESTATES URGED. (By Telegraph—Special to Times.) TE AROHA, Saturday. At a meeting of the Te Aroha branch of the United Party last night, the president presiding, a resolution was unanimously passed advocating the acquisition by the Government of large estates in the Te Aroha district for closer settlement.
