.twelve months in gaol. FOR SERIES OF OFFENCES. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Wednesday. Sentences totalling 12 months’ imprisonment with hard labour were imposed by Mr Page, S.M., on Sidney Joyce Hall, alias Ainsworth, aged 27, a salesman, for the theft of £ll 10s from a fellow lodger and the conversion of a car and theft of a rug, cushion and bathing suit from this car when he abandoned it near Maslcrton. Hall ha 3 a record since 1921, and was out on probationary license.
