A JUNIOR GAMENGAHINAPOURI v. Y.M.C.A. The Ngahinapouri junior hockey boys played a splendid game against Y.M.C.A. juniors at Ngahinapouri last Saturday. The players, most of whom are enjoying their first season at hockey, were enthusiastic over their play, and pul up a good defence against their opponents. The game resulted in a draw. Mr Tait was referee. Unfortunately the Ngahinapouri senior hockey team has been unable to procure enough players for a team this year. This is unfortunate, as the Ngahinapouri senior men's team has for a number of years held quite a prominent position in the hockey circles in the Hamilton Association. NGAHINAPOURI LADIES’ TEAM. AUCKLAND, Thursday. Miss P. Dawson presided over an executive meeting of the Auckland Ladies’ Hockey Association. Delegates

were present from the Walpa and Whangarei sub-associations. An application for affiliation from the Waikato Association was granted and the appointment of Miss M. Raisher as their delegate was approved. It was decided to hold the annual King's Birthday tournament and that entries for seven-a-side garni?!; in connection therewith should close on Monday, May 27. It was decided to countersign Rotorua’s application for direct affiliation to the New Zealand Ladies’ Hockej; Association. -
