HAMILTON LADIES’ CLUB. The second round for Mrs Jell’s trophy was played yesterday. The matches resulted as follows:—Mrs W. Batt defeated Mrs Hay, 5 and 4; Mrs W. Hume and Mrs P. Cleary all square; Miss Allen defeated Mrs Milroy, 3 and 2; Miss Masters won by default from Mrs W. Horton; Mrs Dingle defeated Mrs Masters, 5 and 4; Mrs Russell won by default from Mrs Gower; Miss. Coventry defeated Mrs Masters, 3 and 2; Mrs Bennett defeated Miss McKenzie, 2 and 1. The second round of the Gillies Vase was plfiyed yesterday.
