Mrs A. Beale and Miss Margot Beale left to-day for Auckland. They will sail at the end of the week for Sydney, where Miss Beale will attend the Swords School. 9m m s> e Miss Jean Culpan, of Auckland, is visiting Hamilton and is staying with Mrs Wilfred Jenkins in Boundary Road. i Mr and Mrs W. A. Hutchinson, of Morrinsville, have returned from a three-months’ motor tour of the South Island, and are the guests of Mrs A. Jane, “Ardowen,” Hamilton. ’ * ft * * Mrs Murdock, of Hokitika, is at the Commercial Hotel. «. * * * Mrs G. R. Barnett has returned to Hamilton from a visit to Auckland. Mrs E. W. Jordan, of Tirau, is holidaying at St. Helier’s Bay. ft ft $ * Mrs George Wilson has returned to Tirau from a holiday in Auckland. * * * * Miss Phyllis Amery (Mrs Eric Edgley) was unable to appear in Hamilton with the Midnight Frolics. She is an inmate of a hospital in Auckland. # * * * At a meeting on Saturday evening, Mrs F. D. Pinfold, Mrs R. Cobbe and Mrs Shaw were elected to the Executive of the Girl Guides. * * * * Grand Central Hotel guests include Mesdames F. W. Winstone, E. C. Gage, of Auckland. A. Lawson, of Feilding,,. and Misses D. Winstone, M. Hunter,' M. Hansen, of Auckland, and D. Lawson, of Feilding. * * * * Mrs 11. E. Jones, the Vicarage, Frankton, was admitted on Monday to the Waikato Hospital to undergo an operation. ft ft ft * Mrs Clayton-Grecne and Miss Freena Clayton-Greene returned to Hamilton during the week-end from some weeks' holiday in Gisborne and Hawke’s Bay. * # * <■ Miss Nell Pittar, who has been visiting Gisborne, is staying with Mrs Parke Pittar in Hamilton.
