POSSESSION OF OPIUM
TRADING IN THE DRUG. FINE OF £3O IMPOSED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, Monday. “ It is believed," stated Chief-Detec-tive Cameron, when Wong Yun Wall, aged 64, was charged with having prepared opium in his possession, “ that this man is trading iri opium.” He added that accused could not use in 12 months the amount found. Accused staled that lie had smoked since lie was aged 20 because of asthma. A fine of £3O was imposed.
