MUNICIPAL BATHS’ HOURS.

(To the Editor.) Sir, —Yesterday, after the oppressive heat of the day, I enjoyed a refreshing swim at the baths, even although I was unable to enter the water until, 7.30 and ,the bell to get out sounded at 7.45 p.m., instead of the advertised time of 8 p.m. Why cannot I, and hundreds of others, enjoy this swim in the cool of the evening every night instead of twice a week? Why cannot I enjoy a dip on Sunday, a day on which all progressive baths arc open to the public ? These questions demand an answer from the authorities, who so far have ignored the many complaints and challenges of this nature which have appeared in vour columns. —I am, etc., i ... MERCEDES.
