The Australian Press understands that the question of increasing homeward freights, which at one lime waa under consideration, has now been dropped. A revision of the rates to Australia would be a lengthy operation owing to the' enormous numbci of articles to be dealt with. A bool of the rates consists of 150 pages ol small type.
