SWIMMING COOK STRAIT.
MISS COPPLESTONE'S VENTURE.
FIXED FOR JANUARY 19. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) ASHBURTON, Wednesday. Miss Lily Copplestone intends starting on her swim across Cook Strait at two o'clock on the morning of Saturday, January 19. She will enter the water at Cape Koamaru, at the head of Queen Charlotte Sound, her objective being Cape Ohaoa.
