DECLINED BY PUBLIC TRUSTEE. ACCEPTED BY SAVINGS BANK. AT LOWER INTEREST RATE. (Special to Times.) AUCKLAND, Saturday. A loan of £IOOO for the Whangarei county, which was refused by the Public Trustee at an interest rate oi b per cent, has been accepted by the Auckland Savings Bank at 51 per cent.
