Briand, French Foreign Minister, made important concessions, the effect of which will be that the negotiations for the evacuation of the Rhineland will be conducted simultaneously with the parleys about reparation payments. This implies that as soon as the experts' recommendations result in an agreement between the Governments concerned France will not insist upon the funding of the German debt before recalling her troops from the occupied zone. .
