MOTOR REGULATIONS.
(To the Editor.) Sir For the information of motorists will you please publish the regulation regarding “ overtaking. Man* do not seem to be conversant with it. and whilst causing their fellows on the road considerable worry are tnemselves running the risk of a maximum penalty of £SO for its non-observance. Section 3of Regulation It reads: (3 Everv driver of a motor vehicle shal.. when overtaking another vehicle, signal by use of the warning instrument his desire to pass the vehicle being overtaken, and thereupon it shall be the duty of the driver of the latter vehicle to move to his left, if possible with safety, so to allow the overtaking vehicle a reasonable space in which to pass. After the signal as aforesaid has been given, the driver of the vehicle being overtaken shall not increase 'his speed until the overtaking vehicle lia.i had a reasonable opportunity to pass and draw clear of the overtaken vehicle.” —I am etc., RULE OF THE ROAD.
