BOXING.
YOUNG MEN’S INSTITUTE. The members of the Te Awamutu Young Men’s Institute boxing class participated in 40 contests, securing 29 decisions, with two draw's and nine losses. Following are individual members’ records: —A. Craig (winner of Waikato feather-weight championship), 8 wins, 2 losses, 1 draw; C. Craig, 6 wins; L. Adams, 5 wins, 1 loss; J. Horan, 3 wins, 1 loss; P. Harford, 2 wins, 2 losses; H. Bennett, 1 win,’ 3 losses; W. Craig, 2 wins; A Dick, 2 wins (including Waikato paper-weight championship);.' E. Holmes, 1 draw. Attendances at the institute’s gymnasium. on 36 nights totalled 398, and the medals donated for the most regular attenders were won by J. Fleming and E-_ Adams, who did not miss one practice. The medal for the most improved boxer was won by Percy liarford.
