SOLICITOR MISSING
CAR FOUND ON BRIDGE. MR GASCOIGNE, OF CAMBRIDGE. BEEN ILL AND DEPRESSED. By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CAMBRIDGE, Alfred Henry Gascoigne, aged 60, a well-known solicitor, late senior partner in the Cambridge legal firm of Gascoigne and Kingsford, is missing. He left his home at Leamington this morning in a oar to drive his son to the railway station. Subsequently the oar was found in the centre of the high level bridge, which spans the Waikato River. As Mr Gascoigne had not returned heme the police were notified and made a search, but found no trace of the missing man. Deceased had been In Illhealth lately and was very depressed. On account of Mr Gascoigne’s health the partnership , was dissolved on Saturday. Mr Gascoigne has a wife and two sons, aged 18 and 16 years.
