ARRANGING THE SCHEDULE. A. Fisher and the secretary. Mr w. A. Fisher drew attention to the fact that the Association’s Silver Cup in the milking Shorthorn secuod had been won outright by the Estate. The estate had subsequent y been wound up. but lie and his brother Alan were prepared to donate to the Association a Silver Cup as points prize in this section. Ziman said he thought that the judge’s points in each of the breeds of cattle should be printed at the head of each section in the schedule This should be a help to those who wished to learn about the good and bad points in the animals.—lt was resolved to instruct the secretary to obtain the points from the various breeders’ associations nad report to next meeting. Mr 11. P- Hewitt, on behalf of the sub-committee set up to revise the juvenile class, submitted a list of classes, which were adopted. It was further resolved J o allot £2O to these classes. The appointment of a judge in this section was left in the hands of Mr 11. P. Hewitt. It was, resolved, as the result of a deputation, to increase the prizemoney in the Jersey section by £lO. Jl was resolved to insert the following extra classes in the schedule: (1) Best mounted hack; (2), hack foal by the imported stallion “Little England”; (3) hack •yearling by the imported stallion, “Little England,” both prizes donated by the Waikato , Hunt Glut); (4) cob, 14 hands 2in. and under. Mr J. M. Fisher was elected a member of the association. The secretary reported a credit balance at the bank of kJLflii..
