HAMILTON TO VIENNA.
radio communication. Two-way communication was established last night between Mr G. S. Anchor and another amateur radio operator in Vienna, Austria. The wave-length used was 32 metres and a special short wa.e receiver was used to get the European signals. After conversing for a while in the morse code Mr Anchor switched over telephony and his speech was heard clearly, though weakly, by the Austrian.
