VALUELESS CHEQUES.
TWO MEN CHARGED. ARMS IN THEIR POSSESSION^ (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WHANGAREI, Saturday. David McKenzie Stewart and Roy Patrick Kitching, who were arrested at Kalkaha last night, were brought to Whangarei in custody and charged with obtaining £5 at Auckland by uttering valueless cheques. They were remanded to appear in Auckland in eight days. The police stated that when accused’s belongings wero searched at a hold an automatic and an ordinary pistol, both fully loaded, were found.
