Carrying only a toothbrush and a towel, ' Baron Freidrich Von Keenig' Warthausen, a 22-year-old German aviator, has flown from Moscow to Karachi by easy stages in a 20 h.p. Klemm Daimler monoplane. Last week he flew from Berlin to Moscow, a distance of 1200 miles, in 14 hours, which he claims is a record for a light plane. He had two forced descents during the journey from Moscow. The plane was once forced down by high winds in the Persian Mountains. Baron Warthausen only gained hi» pilot's certificate a few weeks ago.
