SWIMMING.
MORRINSVILLE CLUB. ANNUAL MEETING LAPSES. The annual meeting of the Morrinsville Swimming Club lapsed for want of a quorum. The president, Mr Chapman, naturally felt very disappointed that the public had shown so little interest in the sport of swimming, whicli was for the welfare of the town. He stated that unless more interest was taken he would advocate the disbanding of the club. The adjourned meeting is to be held no Tuesday, October 23, to consider the question whether the club disband. ..i
