Sydney Tattersall’s Club held it 3 spring meeting at Randwick yesterday in fine weather. The race track was in first-class condition. The following were the results of the leading events: — CHELMSFORD ' Of'£-121)0; weight- for-age; with penalties and allowances; 1 mile 1 fur. LIMERICK, 11. A. Knight's br g, ’ syrs, by Limond —Medley, 9.8, including 7ib. penalty 1 WINALOT, E. K. White’s ch h, 4yrs, 9.7., including 71b. penalty 2 THE HAPPY WARRIOR, 11. Raymond and H. Rankin’s ch c, 3yrs, 8.13 3 Eight started. At the half-mile post the Happy Warrior, who led the field from the start, was five lengths ahead, and leading into the straight he was three lengths in front at the distance, where Limerick dashed up, and after a great run the champion won by a length from Winalot, with The Happy Warrior a length away third. ’Time, 1.51*./ Limerick established ' a new record by winning the Chelmsford Stakes for the third year in succession. The only opponent which appeared to trouble Limerick was The Happy Warrior, but by a great effort the New Zealand champion outdistanced him in a terrific run home.

Glenn’s b g, 4yrs, 9.12 3 Fifteen started, iricluding Fools Paradise and Jazz Baby. Sion took charge in the straight, but at the distance he was tackled by Kalloni, and the latter, drawing away, won by a length and a-quarter. Sion was a length in front of In The Shade. Time, JL37J.
