Card Parties. The Y.M.C.A. weekly card parties are now again in full swing for the season. Euchre is played each Monday evening, and whist on the Friday evenings.' These whist parties are becoming very popular indeed and are well enjoyed by all players. Cricket Club. The local Cricket Club held a meeting here on Wednesday evening for the purpose of appointing a secretary to carry on in •place of Mr G. Moore, who had left the district. Mr W. S. K. Mills was appointed to the position of hon. secretary pro tern and to arrange a -date to call the annual meeting.
Miniature Rlflle Club.
A meeting of all interested in the formation of a Miniature Rifle Club is being convened by Mr W». S. K. Mills, the local secretary of the Y.M.C.A., for May 30, when a good muster is hoped for.
