Kauroa Golf Club. At the annual meeting of the Kauroa Golf Club the following officers were elected:—Patron, Mr W. Gibbison; presidents, Mrs G. Dent and Mr H. Wright; vice-presidents, Messrs W. Pond and P. Gibbison; secretary, Mrs N. H. Norris; captain, Mr F. Gibbison; vice-captain, Mr J. K. Weir; committee, Mesdames 0. H. Wallis, G. Dent and Norris, Messrs G. Dent, 11. Wright and P. Gibbison. At the opening meeting Mrs G. Dent hit off first ball. Rugby Football. In the second series of matches for ■the Raglan Rugby Shield Kiwis played the Rovers on the Raglan ground. Rovers won by 14 points to 3. Mr Park was referee. . At Te Mata Raglan played Te Mata, the result being Te Mata 5 points, Raglan 0. Mr J. Somerset was referee. Waitetuna played Moerangl at Te Uku, Moerangi winning by 33 points to 0. Mr Stewart was referee.
