A CHINESE FINED. (By Telegraph —Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Friday. For attempting to defraud customers by topping-off sacks of pumpkins with large ones, a Chinese, Young Wah Chong, of Ohau, was today fined £lO, It was stated that, although a prosecution was recently made, a few bold market gardeners were still taking the risk of toppingoff. ’ Whisky With Wrong Labol. Thomas Hannafln, licensee of the Brunswick Hotel, was fined £2O today for bottling whisky in a bottle from which the original label had not been removed.
