FRISCO JACK SCRATCHED. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Friday. Frisco Jack was scratched at 5.15 p.m. yesterday for all engagements at the Auckland Winter Alceting.
SIRES AT AUCTION. DAY COAIET AND GENERAL LATOUR. (Special to Times.) MORRINSVILLE, Friday. At Morrinsville to-day the thoroughbred racing sires. Day Cornet and General Latour, were submitted to auction. Roth horses were in good condition hut they did not find purchasers under the hammer, in Day Gomel’s case it is not unlikely that a private sale -will be effected.
