HAMILTON CLUB. * FIRST ROUND GILBEY CUP. To-morrow, Saturday, the first round will be played for the Gilbey Cup, presented by Messrs Collins Bros., of Melbourne. The conditions lor this trophy arc three bogey handicaps, players taking the two best bogey cards; players to take threequarters of their medal handicap, and take strokes where shown on back of score card. A temporary rule has been adopted by the committee in reference to bunkers. A ball lying in an uncleaned bunker or bunker in process of being cleaned or filled in may be lifted and placed within one club’s length within the bunker.
