WHITE FOR MADEMOISELLE
Fine white serge allied to white fur for a jaunty two-piece costume! Gould any jeune fllle want more? Ruth Taylor, star of “Gentlemen Prefer Blondes,” a Paramount picture, looked very smart in her suit, which was quite nautical of cut, with its doublebreasted coat fastened with six large white pearl buttons, and its little flap pockets. White grooved coney formed the collar and rovers of the coat,. The skirt, which was knife-pleated, had the pleats stitched down for quite half their length. A white felt, hat, turned up in front, with a pearl ornament, completed the outfit, with which Miss Taylor carried a white kiffhandbag, and wore, white shoes, hut—interesting point—nude-colourcd stockings.
