Progressive Euchre. i The attendances at the weekly euchre 'evenings are well up to last year's ■standard. The ladies' prize was won 'on the opening evening by Mrs Taylor, «and the men's prize went to Mr P. '.Hampton, Mr G. A. Magner securing !the booby prize. On Saturday evening .last the second session of the season •resulted in a win for Miss Marwood ■and Mr A. T. Cross, whilst Mr C. J. 'Corboy annexed the chewing gum. toancing was continued until midnight, .the music being supplied by Miss M. Weatherley. , Residential Changes. ; Sales and exchanges of property are causing several changes of residence "in the district. Mr and Mrs Dewhurst ,'arc moving into the home of Mrs and :Miss R. H. Nicholson, who have departed on a health trip. Mr J. Dew,hurst has sold his dairy farm on Wilcox road to Mr Fealherstone, late of England. Mr A. Porter has taken a lease of Mr Millington's Jinn, properly and large herd. The Jailer has retired, and will live in Hamilton. Mr Margate's dairy farm at Stone's corner is also reported sold recently, and Mr and Mrs Mitchell and family arc shortly leaving to reside in the Ohaupo district. Milk Supply. Our district is experiencing quite a favourable spell of rnikl weather, and the springlike conditions bid fair to prolong the milking season into the winter months. The local creamery ,"/s still running daily, Sundays included, ;jind altogether the general recovery of the pastures and condition of the stock la a matter f;.r general thanksgiving.
