MONEY IN RABBITS.
BIG EARNINGS POSSIBLE. Our Matamata correspondent writes: No less than 8000 rabbit-skins were recently despatched from Matamata lo Dunedin by post. The skins were done up in bundles of the regulation weight and then placed in mail-bags. It is staled that the value of the consignment was about £340, and as this represents two men's work for a not very lengthy period, it can he seen thai there is a good wage in the business for those who understand it and are prepared for hard work. The majority of lhe skins were oblained on the bills at, the back of Walton.
