THE FRENCH MURDER.
REWARD FOR THE MURDERER. THE KNIFE FOUND. (By Telegrapn.—Press Assn.—Copyright.) . (Australian Press Association.) LONDON, May 21. Mrs Wilson was a daughter of the late Mr Charles Cammed, of the steel firm of Gammell, Laird and Company, of which Mr Wilson, husband of the murdered woman, is a director. He is a son of Mr George Wilson, who is chairman of the company. Formerly Mr Wilson was managing director of an iron and steel company in Cumberland. His wife, before her marriage, lived in Wiltshire, and was a wellknown West Cumberland huntswoman. Mr Wilson announces that a large reward will be paid to anyone who brings his wife's murderer to justice.
A muffler and a labourer's ordinary horn-handled knife have been found. The latter is believed to be the weapon which was used to murder Mrs Wilson.
