CLERGYMAN ACCUSED.

WELLINGTON SENSATION. ALLEGED INDECENT ACT. ACCIDENT PREVENTS APPEARANCE. (By Telegraph--Presp Association.; WELLINGTON, Wednesday. When the case against an Anglican minister, aged i 9, (adjourned last week) on a charge of .indecent assault on another male was called to-day before Mr E. Pag& S.M., Mr A. Gray, K.C., who appeared on accused's behalf, said he regretted he had received information during the last few minutes that accused had met with a serious accident. Dr. Brown had been called in at 10.30, when it was found that accused had fallen and broken his thigh. He had been sent to hospital, where he was likely to remain for three months. He asked for a formal remand until the position was definite. Mr Macassey suggested that the the patient's condition should be ascertained after a fortnight. Mr Page agreed, and a remand was granted for a fortnight, further application, if necessary, then to be made.
