TO OPPOSE GOVERNMENT.
MR POLSON'S ATTITUDE. TO UNITED PARTY. .. Questioned this afternoon as to his alleged advocacy of a coalition between the Farmers and the United Party for the purpose of turning the Government out of office, Mr W. J. Poison, president of the New Zealand Farmers' Union, said that he had been somewhat, misunderstood. Nevertheless, his endeavour was to .obtain a fighting force to bring about muchneeded reforms in the country. It was absolutely essential to have such a force, and he' would support, any party' that would help him in the fight for the betterment of the producers <jf the country.
