CIVIC RECEPTION.

MISS MAUDE ROYDEN IN HAMILTON. A olvlo reception was tendered to Miss Royden by the Mayor and Councillors at'the Lyceum Club yesterday afternoon. Bowls of beautifully arranged chrysanthemums decorated the rooms, and Miss Royden, who wore a smart frock of black georgette with godets of lace and olose-fltting black hat, was presented with a bouquet of lovely white roses, dahlias and maidenhair fern.
