GAMING CHARGES.
SALE OF PAKAPOO TICKETS. CIIINAMAN AND EUROPEAN FINED. (By Telegraph-Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Saturday. As a result of a search of premises in Taranaki Street yesterday Ah Fong, a Chinese, aged 36, and Albert Edward -Davis, plumber, aged 42, were charged with keeping a common gaming house and being found .there respectively. The police stated that the premises were used for the sale of pakapoo tickets, a quantity of which were seized.. The Chinese was fined £4O and Davis £2.
