Miss Mary Macgrcgor, the Australinn girl who plays an important role (that of the little lypiste) in "The Jiinger," with Moscovitch, is one of the sweetest, most engaging and popular girls on the stage to-day. Oil' stage she is a very pretty girl, with brown hair and blue eyes, and the softest speaking voice imaginable. She confesses to having u liking for very modern flapper roles, in which, indeed, she excels. Like many artists who have reached the front ranks of the profession, she got her chance with a repertory theatre society, in which she displayed such conspicuous ability that she was brought under the notice of ilie heads. Then came her big opporLunity, when she was cast as Jill in "The Skin Game." That she justified I lie confidence placed in her, and that she possessed the necessary histrionic ability, have heen proved by Urn, fact that she has played important parts ever since.
