DAMAGED PICTURES.
IN JANUARY FLOODS. LOSS GREATLY MINIMISED. LONDON, February 9. Hon. A. M. Samuel, Financial Secretary to the Treasury, in the House of Commons announced that the flooding or the gallery in January destroyed only twenty important mid-Victorian pictures. All the others could he restored.
